This policy explains what information RadPad Home Service Pros LLC ("RadPad," "we," "us") collects through hireradpad.com and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
The short version
- We collect what you give us when you ask for a quote or get in touch, and we use it to answer you and do the work.
- We never sell your information, and we don't use it for targeted advertising.
- We use Google Analytics to see how people use this website. We don't run advertising or social media tracking.
1. Information we collect
When you request a quote or contact us
Our quote form asks for your first and last name and your email address. You can also give us your phone number, your property address, the services you're interested in, how you found us, and any notes that help us quote the job, like a gate code or pets. If you call, text or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to tell us, including any photos you send.
When we work at your home
We keep the details we need to schedule and do the job: your service address, appointment history, notes about your property, and invoices. We photograph our work, including any issues we find, like a loose gutter fastener, so you can see what we saw.
If you pay online, your payment details go directly to our payment processor. We don't see or store your full card number.
Automatically, when you visit the site
Like nearly every website, ours has a hosting provider that records basic technical details when your browser requests a page: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use this to keep the site running and secure. Our quote form also uses your IP address to block spam and repeated submissions. We also use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to show us how visitors use the site: which pages they view, how long they stay, what kind of device and browser they use, and roughly where they are, at the city level. It helps us see what's working. It doesn't tell us who you are.
From other sources
Reviews shown on our site come from our public Google Business Profile and appear as their authors published them on Google.
2. How we use your information
- To answer your request and prepare your quote.
- To schedule, do and follow up on the work, including sending you photos and invoices.
- To contact you by phone, text or email about your request or your service.
- To keep accurate business, tax and accounting records.
- To protect our website and our business from spam, fraud and abuse.
- To comply with the law.
We may occasionally send past customers a seasonal reminder or offer. Every one of those messages tells you how to opt out, and opting out doesn't affect messages about a job you've booked.
We may use photos of our work on our website and social media. We don't include your name or address, and if you'd rather we didn't use photos of your home, tell us and we won't.
3. How we share it
We never sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run the business, and only so they can do that work for us: our website host, the email service that delivers quote requests to our inbox, our customer management and scheduling software, Google, which provides our website analytics, and our website developer, who maintains the site and its quote form and may receive copies of quote requests to confirm they're delivered.
- When the law requires it, for example to respond to a court order, or when we need to protect the rights, property or safety of RadPad, our customers or others.
- If the business changes hands. If RadPad is sold or merged, customer information may transfer to the new owner, who must keep honoring this policy for information collected under it.
Text messages
If you text with us, we use your number only to communicate with you about your request and your service. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts from us.
4. Cookies and tracking
Our site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser to count visits and show us how the site is used over time. Google handles that information under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). We don't use advertising, remarketing or social media tracking, and we don't let any third party track your activity across other websites through our site.
You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Our site doesn't respond to your browser's "Do Not Track" setting, but you can always block analytics cookies this way.
5. How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and customer records for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep accurate business, tax and accounting records, and then we archive them. Our hosting provider's technical logs are kept for a short time and then deleted automatically.
6. How we protect it
The whole site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), so what you type into our forms is protected on its way to us. Access to customer information is limited to the people and services that need it to do the work. No website or system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
7. Your choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have about you,
- correct anything that's wrong,
- delete your information, unless we have to keep it for legal or accounting reasons, and
- stop sending you marketing messages. We'll still contact you about a job you've booked.
Email info@hireradpad.com or call 760.652.9919. We may need to confirm it's really you before acting on a request, and we'll respond within 45 days. We won't treat you any differently for asking.
8. California residents
We don't sell or share your personal information, as California law defines those terms, and we don't use it for targeted advertising. Under California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code § 1798.83), you can ask whether we've disclosed your personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. We don't, but you're welcome to ask using the contact details below.
9. Children
Our website and services are meant for adults arranging service for their homes. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top. Significant changes will be called out at the top of the page.
