Gutter Cleaning & Maintenance
For homeowners, HOAs, and small commercial properties across San Diego County. Gutters cleared by hand, downspouts flushed and confirmed flowing, and the exterior face brightened so the run looks as good as it drains. Debris is bagged and hauled out, not left on the lawn, and it's the same crew and checklist whether you book gutters alone or bundle it with the rest of the exterior on one schedule.

Why Clear Gutters Matter
Water damage and freezing accounted for 22.6% of homeowners insurance losses in 2023, according to the Insurance Information Institute, and many experts recommend cleaning gutters at least twice per year to keep that risk down, according to This Old House. Timing matters more here than in most places: the San Diego coast averages roughly 10 inches of rain a year, with much of it falling between December and March, according to the San Diego County Water Authority, so a clogged run takes the first storm all at once. Insurers back this up directly: seasonal gutter cleaning can help prevent these avoidable claims, and as Mercury Insurance's Director of UW Ops puts it, "Maintaining your gutters and understanding what homeowners insurance covers ensures that your home stays protected." RadPad's checklist, hand-clearing, downspout flush and flow confirmation, and debris haul-away, is built around exactly the two things insurers flag: clogs and standing water. John is a perfectionist. He's on time, efficient, and a great communicator. His services are always an excellent value. I hired him to hang Christmas lights and also to clean our gutters. I highly recommend RadPad! Thank you!
Gutters Questions
The things people ask before booking gutters work.
Not seeing yours? Call and ask. You get a real answer, not a script.
760.652.9919Before the rainy season, and again after it. Our rain arrives in bursts, so a blocked run does its damage in a single storm rather than gradually. If you only do it once, do it before the first rain.
Yes. It is bagged and removed, not raked onto the lawn or left in a pile by the bins.
We flush them and confirm flow before leaving, rather than clearing the trough and assuming the rest is fine. A clean gutter feeding a blocked downspout still overflows.
We photograph it and tell you. Loose fasteners, separated seams and pitch problems are easiest to catch when someone is already at the roofline, and you get the pictures whether or not it turns into more work.
