When should gutters be cleaned in San Diego?

Before the rainy season, and again after it. Our rain arrives in bursts, so a blocked run does its damage in a single storm rather than gradually. If you only do it once, do it before the first rain.

Do you take the debris away?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It is bagged and removed, not raked onto the lawn or left in a pile by the bins.

How do I know the downspouts are actually clear?

We flush them and confirm flow before leaving, rather than clearing the trough and assuming the rest is fine. A clean gutter feeding a blocked downspout still overflows.

What if you find damage while you are up there?

Accepted Answer

We photograph it and tell you. Loose fasteners, separated seams and pitch problems are easiest to catch when someone is already at the roofline, and you get the pictures whether or not it turns into more work.

Do I need to be home during the service?

No. For most exterior work we only need access to the property and an outdoor water spigot. We will confirm the details when we schedule and send photos when the work is complete.
